Bach |

Vivaldi |
A few great pieces of music:
- The first movement of Vivaldi's Concerto No. 8 in A minor for two violins, RV 522 (The Academy of St. Martins in the Fields)
- The final movement of Telemann's Suite Concertante for oboe and violin (Heidelberg Chamber Orchestra)
- The first movement of J.S.Bach's Concerto for violin in A minor, BWV 1041 (Trevor Pinnock & the English Concert)
- Pachelbel did in fact write pieces other than the Canon, and here's one of them--a delightful gigue for three violins (the performers are a mystery to us)
- And for a little heavy hitting, the third movement of Tchaikovsky's violin concerto in D major (Mehta, Rostopovich and the London Philharmonic)
