The Flagler Youth Orchestra could not enjoy its current success without the generous support of the Flagler County community.
Orchestra parents and family members have an opportunity with each concert to support the efforts of the strings program by purchasing "love notes," business size ads or signing the "well-wisher" page in the concert programs.
Local businesses can choose to sponsor a concert event or purchase business ads in our beautiful concert programs produced by the News-Journal. With nearly 400 patrons at each concert, this is an excellent advertising opportunity and great for your company image to be affiliated with a successful county-wide fine arts program serving the children of Flagler.
At each concert, a professional string quartet, lead by our own conductor, Jonathan May on cello, performs for those patrons in attendance as well as the student musicians of the strings program. Each year we look to one company to sponsor this quartet for those three performances. In return, this special company earns naming rights of the quartet for that season. Not only is this great for a company's name recognition, but it's a generous gift to the community: a cultural experience you would normally need to go out of town to experience.
